    • New group structure: main groups by content: Allgemein, Nachrichten, Fußball, Sport, Filme & Serien, Doku & Wissen, Kinder, Musik, International, Erwachsene. The tabs below split by service (Sky, DAZN, DYN, MagentaSport, RTL+ …). Sky Cinema, UHD, Free-TV and the PPV group are gone as main groups; their channels sit under their content.
    • Fußball on its own: Bundesliga, DAZN football, single matches, Leagues, STAIGE and Regionalliga are in one place.

    Improved

    • Logo-only tabs: a tab with a service logo shows just the logo. New logos: Sky Cinema, MagentaSport (Telekom T instead of the MagentaTV "M") and RTL.
    • Shorter tab names: "Dritte", "Regionalliga", "Einzelspiele" instead of the long names.
    • Fixed order: the main groups keep the order above, and "Weitere" is always the last tab.

    Good to know

    • Channel numbers are unchanged.
    • Reload the channel list once after updating so the new groups show up.

    Good to know

    • The logos ship with the app; they do not depend on what Dispatcharr sends.

    • Only channels with a programme: Einstellungen → Wiedergabe → "Nur mit Programm" hides every channel that has nothing in the guide for the next 24 hours. Group counts and zapping follow the filter.
    • Quick switch: the filter can sit on a spare remote key (Tasten belegen → "Nur Sender mit Programm an/aus").

    Improved

    • Event channels name their event: channels like "Soccer PPV 11" show the match from their stream name ("Slovan Bratislava – Stu…") where the guide has nothing, and count as having a programme.

    Good to know

    • 24/7 channels always stay visible; their name is their programme.
    • Placeholders such as "Sendepause" or "Kein Programm" do not count as a programme.
    • Search and the number keys still find hidden channels.

    • Favourite from the player: the controls now have a "Favorit" button. ★ means the channel is a favourite, ☆ that it is not; OK switches.
    • Key mapping: Einstellungen → App → "Tasten belegen" opens a popup. Pick an action with OK, then press the key you want for it. Available actions:
      • Sender als Favorit an/aus (the channel playing, or the one selected in the list)
      • Zum vorigen Sender
      • Stream-Info an/aus
      • Qualität wählen
      • Tonspur wählen
      • Suche öffnen

    Good to know

    • Back while the popup waits for a key removes that action's key.
    • Arrows, OK, Back, Home, the number keys, channel and volume keys cannot be taken; the popup says so.
    • One key does one thing: giving it to a second action takes it from the first.

    Improved

    • Subgroups as tabs: the group list on the left shows only the nine main groups again, nothing unfolds. The subgroups of the open group are a row of tabs above the channel list ("Alle" first). Right from the group list lands on the tabs, left/right switches, down goes into the channels.
    • Back walks outwards: in the channel list, Back jumps to the open group on the left; pressed again, it jumps to the settings button at the top. No more scrolling all the way up.

    Fixed

    • Back in the player: one press now returns to the channel list. Before, the first press often did nothing or only hid the controls, and with an unsteady stream it could take several.

    Good to know

    • A menu in the player (Qualität, Ton) or the info panel still closes first.
    • The tab you picked stays when you go back to the group list.

    • Expandable group list: the rail now shows nine main groups: Free-TV, Sky Cinema, UHD, Ausland, Sport DE, Sport international, PPV & Events, 24/7 and Erwachsene. Moving onto one opens it and lists its subgroups indented below.
    • Main group = all its channels: selecting a main group lists every channel of its subgroups; a subgroup narrows that down.
    • UHD by provider family: Sky Select, Paramount, Magenta, Apple+, international live sport and "Weitere".

    Improved

    • Club matches: Free-TV and PPV channels are now included when looking for your club's matches.
    • Shorter labels: channel rows and the player show only the subgroup name.

    • Channel numbers are unchanged.
    • The structure comes from the group names in Dispatcharr ("UHD / Sky Select"), so it can be changed there without an app update.

    • Search: "Suche" at the top of the group list opens a search field. Type with the remote's keyboard or by voice.
    • Finds programmes too: besides channel names and numbers, it searches what runs in the next 24 hours. "Stuttgart" lists every channel showing a Stuttgart match, with the programme and its time.

    Good to know

    • Case, accents and punctuation do not matter ("bodo" finds "Bodø"). With several words, all of them have to match.
    • Programme search starts at three letters; shorter queries look at channel names only.
    • Locked adult channels stay out of the results until the PIN is entered.

    • Provider in the quality list: every stream now shows where it comes from, e.g. "XC FHD" or "4K UHD", instead of "FHD · Quelle 2".
    • Preferred provider: Einstellungen → Wiedergabe → "Bevorzugter Anbieter" puts one provider's streams first at every resolution. The other provider stays as the fallback, and channels only it carries keep playing.

    Improved

    • Clearer labels: streams without a quality tag in their name are labelled by their measured resolution ("XC FHD" rather than "DAS ERSTE HEVC").

    Good to know

    • Streams the TV cannot decode, or that failed the last nightly check, still come after the working ones, even from the preferred provider.
    • Needs the Dispatcharr build from 2026-10-14, which sends each stream's provider name.

    • Group icons: the group list shows a clear icon per topic (news, film, sport, kids …) instead of the emoji in the group names, a country code for country groups (RO, AT, CH) and a lock for adult groups.
    • Adult channels by theme: adult channels now appear in their own groups behind the PIN instead of one long "Erwachsene" list.

    Fixed

    • Back after playback: leaving a channel returns to the group you watched from. Hiding the on-screen controls could silently switch the list to another group, so Back landed somewhere else (for example in "LEAGUES PPV").

    Improved

    • Second provider as backup: when the main provider's line is busy, castarr now switches straight to a stream from the second provider instead of retrying the busy one for up to 12 seconds.

    Good to know

    • More streams per channel: about 170 German channels now list extra streams from the second provider in the quality menu ("FHD · Quelle 2" and similar).
