New
- Quality button in the player (next to "Ton"): lists every version of the channel (FHD, HD, UHD) with codec and resolution. UHD is one click away; the pick sticks to that channel.
- Best stream for this TV automatically: a TV with hardware HEVC gets RTL and VOX in Full HD instead of 720p.
- Automatic resolution setting: Settings → Wiedergabe → "Automatische Auflösung" decides whether "Automatisch" may go up to 4K (default: Full HD).
- Audio track list: pick the track from a list instead of stepping through. The remote's audio key opens it too.
Improved
- Channel numbers match the backend: ZDF is 3, Sky Sport Bundesliga 1300, the same as in the browser viewer. New channels no longer shift the others.
- The list and the group rail run in channel-number order; the right key jumps between hundreds blocks.
- Clearer audio track names: "Deutsch · Stereo · AAC" and "Deutsch · 5.1 · Dolby Digital" instead of "Deutsch" and "Deutsch 2". The choice carries over to the next channel.
- If a stream fails, the player moves on to the next version by itself.
Fixed
- CH+ goes to the next higher channel, not the lower one.
- Back from playback lands on the same spot in the list instead of jumping the channel to the top or losing the focus.
