Improved
- Zapping without hangs: CH+ and CH− show the next channel at once but open it only when you stop pressing. Zapping through six channels now opens one connection instead of six, which was what left the server stuck before.
- Faster channel change: castarr waits until the old connection is really closed and then opens the new one in a single attempt. Dispatcharr now frees the connection immediately instead of after 2 seconds.
- Channel names: provider names in capitals now read normally ("Das Erste", "Sky Sport News"); abbreviations such as ZDF, RTL or DAZN stay as they are.
New
- Notice when a quality fails: if, say, FHD is not on air, the player says "FHD sendet gerade nicht — weiter mit SD" instead of switching silently.
- LIVE label: live broadcasts (Sky, DAZN) are marked LIVE in the list and the player.
- UHD · HDR in the player: shown next to the channel name when the picture is UHD or HDR.
- HDR in the quality list: UHD streams show "HDR (HLG)" once the nightly check has recorded it.
- Clock: the time of day in the top bar.
- Faded channels: a channel whose streams all failed the nightly check is shown faded. It can still be played; often it is only off air at night.
Fixed
- Wrong "Verbindung wird wiederhergestellt…": a normal channel change no longer shows the reconnect message.

- On the TV: Settings → App → Version 0.17.0 → "Update installieren".
